Who knew in 2004 ?

That I ( Hadas ) will go on an expedition with a Cornish guy to Japan and we will keep seeing each other at different symposiums around the world…. First one was at the British kayak symposium on the tidal races of Wales. The second one was in the freezing waters of Iceland. Then came the shark contaminated waters of Georgia, USA. And now, how exiting…..Jeff will be visiting me here at our symposium on the warm waters and big surf we get in Israel. How special is that???? Jeff always said to me, god has a plan, and I always said to him, trust me; you will visit me in Israel one day. I was lucky in Japan to be traveling with him and all his sea experience, not only from sea kayaking but from a life long experience of sailing, working on fishing boats and living a seaman’s life. So when he is here, listen close cause there is lots to learn from him, besides how to edge the kayak. Ask him ….he loves to talk, I saw the faces of people that attended his incident management courses, they get off the water with a face filled with energy. I know I will surely be there too. Jeff, I can’t wait to see you here. Also of course you Simon, but you are almost a citizen here. Together we will show Jeff the waters of Israel. Not a lot of water here but what we have is…. Wow!!!!!! So see you at the symposium, or before at the airport.
Paddling in Japan Jeff wrote: Of fiery suns and silvery moons and seas of metallic Grey. * Of harbor walls and eating halls and baths in the onsen Way. * Of muscles ripped and a face tight lipped at the end of the Paddling day. * Of friendships born and children so far Away. * An adventure near over, for once a wild rover, let’s drink “CAMPAI” To another day.
