  • A new page : '2 Weeks View'

    • Purpose: Viewing 2 weeks of kayak session reservations (all members shown) with options to:
      • Add a new kayak reservation
      • Delete a kayak reservation
      • Edit a kayak reservation
      • Notify of a kayak reservation
      • Sort reservations by:
        • Request Time (date & time when reservation was set)
        • Name
        • Kayak ID

    • HowTo:
      • Get to the new page : From every page through the TOP navigation bar.
        Look for the link 2 Weeks View
      • Add : Click on the sign on a specific date and time section, to go into the 'Kayak Session Reservation' page with all needed data filled.
        Click 'Reserve' to save and go back to the '2 Weeks View' page
      • Delete : Click on the sign on the specific date and time section, where the reservation you need deleted is, click 'Ok' when asked to confirm.
      • Edit : Click on your underlined name in the list, to go into the 'Kayak Session Reservation' page with all data filled.
        Change whatever needs change and click 'Update' to save and go back to the '2 Weeks View' page.
      • Notify : Click on the sign on a specific date and time section, to go to the 'Notify page'.
      • Sort : Use the sort order selector at the top right corner of the screen, to change the sort order in each day section.
        The arrow points to the current sort order.
        The last selected sort order is retained through-out your session.

    • Notes:
      • Actions (Add, Delete, Edit and Notify) are available only on future days.
      • Delete, Edit and Notify are available only on a day/time you have a kayak session reserved for (obvious, but should be mentioned...)
      • ALL functionality previous to this version is retained. Which means you can still add/delete/edit/notify through the 'Kayak Session Reservation' page

  • 'Kayak Session Reservations' page has a new feature: Edit Reservation

    • Purpose: Enabling changes to your kayak reservation. Optional changes are:
      • Reserved kayak
      • Surf kayak check
      • Comments

    • HowTo: In your reservations list, each reservation has an 'edit' link, which switches you
      from [Create Mode] to [Edit Mode]
      After you enter your changes, you may click on the 'Update' button;
      The new selections are then saved, and you return to [Create Mode].


      • Please Note:
    • In [Edit Mode], both Date and Time are fixed and cannot be changed.

    • Clicking the 'Reset' button, in both modes, clears your current (unsaved) selections.
      Saved reservations are not affected by 'Reset'.
      When 'Reset' is clicked, Mode is changed to [Create Mode]

  • 'Kayak Session Reservations' page has a new checkbox (Surf: )
    to indicate that you may take a surf kayak, in case waves are high.
    If selected, a checkmark will show on your kayak reservation.

  • A new 'Email Notification System' has kicked off:

    • Purpose: You notify fellow members of your kayak session reservations. Offer them to join you (or maybe beg that they won't...), and supply them with a link to reserve for the same session

    • HowTo: In your reservations list, each reservation has a 'notify' link which takes you to the 'Notify Members' page.
      Sending a notification is done by 3 easy steps:
         1. Select (from a list) members you wish to notify.
         2. Add a text message of your own (optionally)
         3. Preview then Send (or just Send).

    • Received a Notification Email: To join, you may click on the given link, which after you log-in, takes you to the 'Kayak Session Reservation' page, with the exact date & time already selected. All you have to do is select a kayak (or retain your preferred selection) and click 'Reserve'.

      Please Note:
    • In order to use the 'Email Notification System' you need to have your email address on your profile record.
      If your record is missing the email address, then once you click on a notify link for the first time, you'll be presented with a one-time page requesting you to enter your email.

    • Members shown in the 'Notify Members' page list, are only those who have entered an email address.

    • If you would like to be taken out of this list, un-check the 'Accept Email Notifications:' box in your 'profile' page.
