Greek Islands

Try island hopping by kayak, along high cliffs and across crystal blue bays. Each island has its own unique character: on one, they used to dive for sponges, while another plays host to ancient castles. There are active volcanoes, and the tasty Kalimnos bread is available for a few cents. During daytime paddling, we come upon fisherman and monks in their secluded chapels and monasteries. There is always time for snorkeling in turquoise waters. Upon reaching camp, we set up the tents, light the campfire, and partake of our dinner, often pasta washed down with a bit of ouzo. Sometimes we finish the day in a traditional village, with dinner at the local taverna, frequently calamari and a Greek salad. This is what our kayak trips in the Greek islands are all about.
